Chickasha, Okla. – Police arrested a man accused of attempting to sell two children, ages 1 and 5, over the internet for sex.

Jason Todd Burns, 25 told investigators he had a conversation in an internet chat room and promised to procure the children for a New York man for $5,000, said Grady County Assistant District Attorney Lesley March.

“His admission was that he did engage in a chat room conversation and that the conversation dealt with Burns arranging for and quoting a price for the other individual to have sex with a 1- and a 5-year old girl,” march said.

March said it was unclear if Burns offered his own children for sale.

“That is still under investigation,” March said. “We know that he has two children who reside in the Comanche County area. He also has a stepchild in Chickasha who would fall into this age range.”

Several children were removed from Burns’ Chickasha home.

Prosecutors plan to file a charge of transmitting information by computer for the purposes of instigating sexual contact with a minor, a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.

Is God Sending a Warning?

I know that there are far too many people who do not believe what the Bible has to say, especially those passages dealing with prophecy. To them, I can only say that that is their right, both according to our Constitution and to the fact that God created mankind with “free will”.

To those who may believe and to those who just aren’t sure if the Bible is filled with fact or fiction, I give this word of advice: “Open your eyes and take notice of what is happening here in America as well as around the world.” Contrary to what some churches like to teach, God does bless or punish entire nations based on the actions of their governments, the same as He does individuals. The Bible is full of such examples.

When America became an Independent nation, contrary to what the revisionist historians wish us to believe today, our laws were based on Judeo/Christian principles. The book used to teach reading and morality in our public schools was the Bible. In the early days of the United States, citizens did not rely on the federal government for handouts and bailouts. Local churches and religious organizations took care of the less fortunate in their communities without government interference. Churches were open twenty four seven for those seeking prayer and they were packed, not only on holidays, but every single Sunday as well.

From the founding of the United States until about 1959 and early 1960s, parents had more control and say over their local schools and school boards, especially when it came to setting the curriculum.

We weren’t perfect, but basically, ours was a moral and God-fearing nation and during these years, while the United States abided by God’s laws and statutes, concerning morality, God blessed this nation in so many different ways. We were truly “America the Beautiful”. We were number one in agriculture, number one in manufacturing, number one militarily and we were number one when it came to quality of education.

Some where along the way, something went awry and the United States has been stumbling along blindly heading toward the precipice of doom. On June 25, 1962, at the behest of an avowed atheist, Madalyn Murray O'Hair, with the help of the ACLU, the U.S. Supreme Court forbid 39 million students from doing what they and their predecessors had been doing since the founding of our nation - publicly calling upon the name of the Lord at the beginning of each school day. This has led to a rapid moral decline in America since then. Just what was this pray that Ms. O’Hair found so objectionable? Here is what it said: "Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence on Thee and beg Thy blessing over us, our parents, our teachers and our nation." America has experienced a radical decline in each of the four areas which the children's prayer touched upon: youth, family, education, national life.

By this decree on the part of judicial activist judges, forbidding invocation, the Court has elevated a secularized system of education beyond the authority, reach and blessing of God Himself. Worse than taking the Lord's sacred name in vain is treating it with contempt, denying its rightful place and stripping it from public use and even from the lips of children. Jesus' own expressed desire, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them" was also violated by these judges, many of whom were raised in Christian homes.

Also by it’s actions of outlawing pray in the public schools, the Supreme Court ruled to sanction atheism, thus, there is no longer an absolute and just legal basis for judging "between a man and his brother," much less a man and his neighbor (Deuteronomy 1:16, 17). All affairs of life become subject to state, rather than individual control.

Following the removal of pray from the public schools, we (those of us who are old enough to remember) witnessed the bloody assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Friday, November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas. From then on we were and still are on a downward slide both morally and in our standing around the world.

In 1973, the liberal activist judges then decided, in their august wisdom, to legalize the MURDER of millions of unborn children. This has led to the disrespect for not only human life but also to the lose of self-respect and the respect for others. We replaced pray with the institution of sex education in our schools which has led to an explosion in teenagers having out of wedlock babies. Today, America has all sorts of animal rights groups and environmental groups that have more respect and concern for “endangered species” then they do for human life. Did you know that the majority of those who support abortion are against the death penalty for murders?

Each new immoral RIGHT granted by our courts has led to even more immoral rights being demanded and granted. We saw the eradication of our sodomy laws which has led to Gay and Lesbian RIGHTS being passed, which has now led to the right of homosexual and lesbian couples to adopt children and act as foster parents, which despite what the liberals like to say, is morally WRONG. From this, we now have our children in many of our public schools being taught not only that homosexually is “NORMAL” and something to be esteemed and tolerated, but also how to perform various homosexual acts. From all of that, we have progressed to the point where many cities and states are now legalizing “same-sex” marriages and unions, while at the same time they are pushing their “no fault divorce” which has further led to the destruction of traditional marriages and families.

Many individuals and churches refuse to acknowledge the words found in Holy Scripture where God declared that “If a man lies with a man as with a women, it is an abomination in the sight of God.” Many priests and ministers now teach that that isn’t what it really means, thus turning ever further from God’s natural laws, with many churches ordaining and consecrating openly gay and lesbian men and women to not only the priesthood, but also to the episcopacy. The Bible also forbids men from dressing in women’s clothing and acting as women or for women to dress as men and act as men, yet today, we applaud those who do such a thing and make idols of them.

How can anyone deny the fact that the further we turn from God and decent moral behavior, the more God removes his blessings from this nation? Look around people, we are facing more frequent and worsening storms, such as hurricanes, tornados, snow storms, etc, along with other natural disasters not only here but around the world. More frequent forest and wild fires, flooding, earthquakes and draught. Promiscuity, adultery, homosexuality and illegal drug use has led to HIV-AIDS, but have we heeded the warning?

As our elected leaders turn ever more from God’s laws and instead work toward pushing us into a one world government and “globalization”, as countries turn ever more from the worship of the Creator and instead worship nature through the celebration of “Earth Day”, we witness the loss of more and more jobs in our country. We have lost almost all of our manufacturing jobs putting thousands of U.S. citizens out of work, just so that big corporations can make even more money for the rich stockholders by using cheap overseas labor and by bringing in millions of illegal immigrants who take, what jobs are left, away from our own citizens. We have seen the growing incidents of people becoming sick and many dying from food tainted by salmonella and other bacteria as we rely more and more on importing our fruits and vegetables because we are growing less and less of our own due to “globalization” and because we allow illegal immigrants with poor hygiene habits to come and pick our crops and work in our food processing plants, with no control or oversight.

After we were viciously attacked on 9/11, our government leaders made it even easier for the Islamists to immigrate to our country and then bend over backward to grant them all sorts of rights as regards their religious practices. The very sort of rights that the government has denied to Christians and Jews. As a result, the Islamists are setting up local terrorist groups right here in America, which is placing every man, woman and child in America, in mortal danger. If our leaders were Godly men and women and if they had even a modicum of common sense, they would ban the practice of Islam in this country and ban the immigration of Muslims into the country while we are facing the threats from the radical Islamists.

God has been giving us due warnings to turn back to obeying His laws and honoring Him or He will allow this nation to be brought down and destroyed, yet in our stupidity and arrogance we continue to ignore those warnings and allow the un-Godly and immoral among us to hold sway over our society instead of removing the evil from our land. How many more warnings do you think God will give, before He finally allows us to be totally destroyed like He did to Sodom and Gomorrah?

Regardless of how the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled, God's laws are not watered down to suit anyone; if God did that He would cease to be God. The moral law never alters for the noblest or the weakest; it remains abidingly and eternally the same. After decades of severe moral decline, don’t you think it is time to repent, to once again reverence the name of the Lord, reinstate Him to His proper place in our society?

Think about it people, because time is running out and when the time comes, good and bad alike will suffer, because those who claim to be Godly have remained silent and refused to stand up to the evil, and in God’s eyes, that makes them just as guilty.
