Geraldo and Other Media Personalities are behind
Geraldo Rivera, the host of the Fox News Channel’s Geraldo At Large, had better wake up and realize the harm he is doing to American society, and he isn’t the only one. Far too many television and radio personalities are just as guilty and they are doing a grave disservice to the American public. What I am referring to, is their portrayal of the illegal immigrant situation.
Last night, on the Geraldo At Large program, Rivera constantly used the term “anti-immigrant” when referring to the “Minute Man” organization and other groups that are fighting against illegal immigration.
One cannot help but see the “Open Borders”, “One World Government” agenda that reporters like Geraldo are forcing on the American public, and it is this sort of thing that is leading to growing tensions between Hispanics and white Americans.
Contrary to what Geraldo and others like him are feeding the public, on a daily basis, Americans are NOT against immigration, we are against ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION and UNLIMITED IMMIGRATION. The “Minute Man” organization is not causing violence against Hispanics in general or Mexicans in particular, and it is about time that Geraldo and others of his ilk stop insinuating that they are. The “Minute Man” organization is only doing what the federal government refuses to do. And if the truth be known, by refusing to secure our borders and put an end to the illegal immigration, the Federal Government is in VIOLATION of the United States Constitution.
It is about time that the Main Stream Media started to tell the TRUTH. It is NOT groups like the “MINUTE MEN” who are the cause of tensions running high; it is NOT the American citizens who are fomenting violence against Mexicans. This problem lies squarely with the media for their false and biased reporting; it lies with the
The problem also lies with the ACLU and with various local governments, groups and employers who insist on violating our federal immigration laws by offering “sanctuary” to illegals, by continually hiring illegals at lower wages and no benefits rather than pay decent wages to American workers. And the problem also lies with the illegals themselves when they sneak into our country and then compound their law breaking by using forged or stolen Social Security cards, Green cards and driver’s licenses, drive without a license or insurance, drive while intoxicated causing accidents that kill or maim our citizens. And then they have the unmitigated gall to hold demonstrations to “DEMAND” rights that they are NOT entitled to, and live off the largess of the American taxpayers getting free medical/dental care, free education, free housing which is putting a huge financial strain on our educational, medical and other systems.

These are the reasons for the growing resentment against the illegals and it is high time that Geraldo and others start reporting the TRUTH and stop with their biased reporting. If the above mentioned problems are not properly resolved (it is not a complicated matter, all one has to do is enforce and uphold our existing laws) America will see rioting in the streets along with racial and ethnic violence that will make the race riots of the 1960’s look like child’s play.
