Have you ever looked into the sweet face of a child and beheld the beauty of innocence? Have you ever watched a group of children at play and wondered at their natural intelligence and the brightness of their spirit?
As you watch your own child or the children of your neighbors at play, have you ever asked yourself: “What in God’s holy name would possess a sweet little girl to stand before TV cameras and sing with such confidence ‘When I wander into Jerusalem I will become a suicide bomber’ or an angelic faced little boy loudly exclaim: ‘We will destroy the chair of the despots, so that they will taste the flames of death’?
Can you even fathom what horrors were committed upon these children to poison their very souls and drive to utter madness and place them on the path of murder? Can you even guess at what nightmarish and diabolical activities goes on in their homes, mosques and schools that will drive them to strap on a suicide vest of explosives, walk into a pizza parlor or crowded mall and blow themselves up and killing countless unsuspecting innocents in the process?
What hellish nightmare has a young man faced, growing up in a home with a mother, father, brothers and sisters, suddenly stab his own sister to death – stabbing her not just once, but dozens and dozens of times, like some kind of crazed serial murderer – simply because she supposedly held hands or was seen in public with a male who was not a relative?
