The following is my “MUNCHKIN’S PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT”
I am lending my support, along with my Daddy, to the American Family Association (AFA) and other family oriented groups that are calling on concerned parents to KEEP their children home from school if their child’s school observes the homosexual-sponsored initiative called the “Day of Silence.”
On Friday, April 25th, more than 4,000 schools across the nation will be observing the “Day of Silence”, an initiative that is being sponsored by the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) an activist homosexual group. This event is for the purpose of encouraging students to remain quite for the whole day for the purpose of bringing attention to the homosexual lifestyle.
Buddy Smith who is with the AFA says; “The first step would be to go to AFA.net, click on the day of silence action alert to see if your child’s school is listed to participate in the day of silence. If they are, then we have a suggested letter that you can send to your child’s school…requesting that they stop this nonsense.”
If sending the letter does not work, then Smith suggests keeping your child home from school on April 25th, or whatever day your child’s school plans to observe the “Day of Silence.”
LIBERAL STUPIDITY AND BIAS REARS ITS UGLY HEAD IN YOUR JUDICIAL SYSTEM:
Marilyn Mackel, a Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner, has denied the request of 17-year-old Shawn Sage to join the military last October, according to a report in the Los Angeles Daily News.
The judge rejected the foster teens request for early enlistment with the Marine Corp – and a $10,000.00 signing bonus – reportedly on the grounds that she (the judge) didn’t approve of the
Sgt. Guillermo Medrano of the Simi Valley U.S. Marine Corps recruiting office told the paper: “The judge said that she didn’t support the Iraq war for any reason we are over there, she just said all recruiters were the same—that they all tap dance and tell me what I want to hear. She said that she didn’t want him (Shawn) to fight in it.”
Shawn himself told the paper: “Foster children shouldn’t be denied an ability to enlist in the service just because they are foster kids. Foster kids shouldn’t have to go to court to gain approval to serve one’s country.”
