STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES! 2nd Day:

So here we are at the beginning of a New Year and the vultures, we call presidential hopefuls, are circling over head, spewing their lies and deceitful promises, but are we truly listening?

Oh, they appear on political ads and they “debate” each other, pouring out their verbal B.S., polluting the airways with their false promises, but the real problem is that the really important questions are never asked and never answered.

They tell us just what we want to hear but their true leanings are hidden behind rhetoric and the twisting of the truth much as Satan does when it comes to Holy Scripture. Isn’t it wonderful how we are played like a fine violin?

I hope that I can pull back the curtain from your eyes and expose the truth. Once I have done that, the rest is up to you. You can go along meekly with the lies and deceits or you can stand up for your country, your homes, your children and grandchildren. Let’s see what lies ahead.

We hear how the price of oil is headed to over one hundred dollars a barrel. Just two days ago on ‘Bulls and Bears’, a Fox News channel business show, one of the stock market experts made the comment that we will be paying $5.00 or more for gas before the end of the year, but WE will be able to afford it. Who is the “WE” that will be able to afford it, you and me? I hardly doubt it. We are told that one of the reasons that oil is going so high is because of a shortage, and the shortage is due to the fact that India and China are demanding more oil because they are emerging economies. My question is: “Who helped and pushed for them to become emerging economies?” Our government did, but didn’t they take into consideration that as the economies of India and China grew, that they would use more oil?

Then you have Hillary, Edwards, and Obama, all telling us how if they are elected they are going to raise taxes on the rich. How can you possibly believe that line of crap? Stop and think about that one for a moment, all of those telling us how they will raise taxes on the rich are themselves filthy rich. Do you really think that they will raise their own taxes? Even if they did pass such legislation, you can bet that it would be so full of loopholes that instead of the rich paying higher taxes, those higher taxes will be paid by us, the little guys. It is a very old line, yet most of you keep falling for it, over and over again.

Again, the majority of Americans are up in arms over illegal immigration and the government’s failure to secure our borders. Is anything done? Will anything ever be done? HELL NO! While congress and the president pay lip service to the issue, the heads of brokerage firms, CEO’s of large corporations and the Wall Street tycoons feed us the line that “WE” need the illegals and millions more legal immigrants because they are good for the economy. Who, you and me? NO, the only ones benefiting are the rich fat cats because they are getting richer off the cheap labor, while the rest of us watch more and more of our manufacturing jobs disappear over seas. Another thing that we are told, over and over again, is that if it weren’t for the illegals, we wouldn’t be able to get our houses cleaned or our grass mowed. Excuuuuse me! How many of us hire illegals or anyone else to clean our homes or mow our lawns?

One thing you can be sure of is that we will lose even more jobs over the next few years. John McCain, that bastion of conservatism has already stated that he will push for even more “free trade” agreements if he is elected. If Rudy, Huckabee or Romney is elected, you can almost be assured that the “WELCOME” sign will be hung at the borders and the entire country will become a sanctuary for illegals and America will become a land divided by many languages and many customs. We may even degenerate into a land of ethnic warfare much like Darfur and many other countries in Africa. There will be nothing left to bind us together as a nation.

So what does the future hold? As you peer through the glass darkly, you can just make out what is left of America joining hands singing ‘Kumbaya’ as they make that long march toward the brave new world known as the one world government. Hopefully there will be some of us who do what we can to survive until the coming of the Lord.
