STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!
Now that we are into our sixth day of the New Year, I think that we should take a look back at where we have been and then a look ahead and where we just might be heading.
Did you know that the US Government is suing the Salvation Army? The federal government claims that employers MUST hire people who refuse to communicate in English or else face the consequences.
That is rather interesting don’t you think… that many in congress and in our courts seem to have a problem with going after employers who hire illegal immigrants, yet they have no problem going after small business owners and non-profit organizations who simply ask their employees to speak English while they are on the clock!
2007 has been another year where the secular progressives have been pressuring us to abandon our religious beliefs, even during Christmas:
They want NO prayer in school or any place else…
They want no Nativity Scenes or other Christian decorations in the town square…
No mention of God at high school graduations…
But, that wasn’t enough for them; they say that for the good of the WORLD we must give up our love for our country and our feelings of nationalism because:
Now these “Blame America First” liberal whack jobs are demanding that we GIVE UP our language. You read that right, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), backed by the ACLU is going after a Salvation Army Thrift Store BECAUSE IT REQUIRED employees to speak English while on the job! The store even gave everyone a year to learn English. Two employees refused to do so and were fired.
Can you imagine a future America where you go into a supermarket and the employees don’t know the English word for most of the items you wish to purchase, or you enter a restaurant and the waiter doesn’t understand what you are ordering and brings you two soft-boiled eggs on toast instead of surf ‘n turf, or how about if you work in a sawmill and your co-worker cuts off your right arm because he/she doesn’t know the meaning of STOP!
All of this idiocy is just one more result of the congress REFUSAL to protect our borders and allowing between 12-30 million illegals to flow into the country unchecked. Every time we the people have put pressure on our elected officials, to protect the border and NOT grant amnesty or freebies to the illegals already here, congress makes a big show of “listening” to the will of the people and they then pass legislation to add more border guards, build a border fence, etc., but then once we have been placated by their false sense of security, they then secretly pass new legislation that, in essence, kills the legislation to secure the borders.

So, how do the majority of the American people feel about all of this as opposed to Nancy Pelosi, Barney Frank, Harry Reid and Ted Kennedy? Let’s take a look see:

Nearly 90% believe that it is important for immigrants to learn to speak English, and more than 75% believe that employers should have the right to require employees to speak English while on the job.
No matter what the polls show, our own government is actively siding with people who absolutely refuse to learn the English language.
Almost every business you call today, you have to listen to a message telling you to PRESS #1 for English or PRESS #2 for Spanish. Why should this be?
Our entire education system in this country has been changed to accommodate the children of people who speak languages other than English.

When the Italians immigrated here, did our schools immediately introduce bilingual education and teach math in Italian?
When other immigrants arrived from different countries, did all of our towns and cities scrape all of their signs in English and substitute them for signs in German, French, Ukrainian, etc.?
Teddy Roosevelt was correct when he said: “We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language.”
So why are we being ignored? Why do our elected officials insist on “Open Borders” and amnesty for all the illegals? The answer is plain to see if you would just use your ears and listen to all of our politicians, educators and a large percentage of our so-called religious leaders.
