FREAKY DEAKY FRIDAY: _Z

McCain Still Don’t Get It!

After listening to the Republican debate, on the Fox News Channel, that took place in South Carolina, I have to say that Sen. John McCain just doesn’t get it when it comes to how people feel about illegal immigration and what should be done about the 12-30 million illegals that are already here.

According to McCain, the reason why the majority of Americans were against the McCain backed Amnesty bill that he continues to try and ram through congress, is because we don’t trust the government to secure the borders if congress grants amnesty first. Hey stupid! We the American people were and are against your bill because, NOW PLEASE TRY TO GET THIS THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULL, we want the border secured and NO AMNESTY for those who are already here illegally. We want them sent back to their country of origin, CAPICE?

Giuliani isn’t much better. He still defends his don’t ask don’t tell sanctuary policy that he had while mayor of New York City and which he still supports today. His answer was he feels that law enforcement should not ask a suspected illegal what their immigration status is, because this would stop the illegals from reporting rapes murders, abuse, etc., out of fear of being deported. And he feels that we American citizens should pay for the education of the children of illegals because if they are in school they wouldn’t be joining gangs and roaming the streets. Hey Ruddy, I got news for you! If they weren’t here in the first place, they wouldn’t be raped, murdered, abused, etc., here, and their children wouldn’t be roaming our streets and joining gangs here. It isn’t American citizens who are abusing them, murdering them or raping them it is their own people doing it to them.

I’m sorry, but even though the American people are a generous people, we cannot afford to be the babysitter to the world. Nor can we any longer afford to allow people to wander into our country willy-nilly and then have them abuse our generosity by putting a strain on our medical, educational, welfare and penal systems, especially when we are headed toward a recession and more and more Americans are losing jobs. Our pockets are not as deep as the world seems to think.
