“Where o where has our border fence gone? Where o where can it be?”

Here we go again, the Federal Government is once again sticking it to WE THE PEOPLE!

First we were told that the Congress of the United States signed into law the “Safe Fence” Act to build a double fence along our southern border to stop the illegal immigration that has been demanded by the majority of Americans. Then just when we thought we had won, Congress voted, secretly, to pull the funding for the fence just before they left for the Christmas vacation.

Then we were told that the government was going to build a “virtual fence” along the U.S. – Mexico border in Arizona (of course, I had my doubts as I don’t trust our government at all any more, nor do I have any more respect for any of our leaders and that goes from the President all the way to the local level). Now it was announced to day on the Fox News Channel that it has been put on “hold” because it doesn’t meet contract requirements for detecting border intrusions. Agency officials, testifying before the oversight panel of the House Homeland Security Committee in Washington, D.C., stated that plans to expand the system to the Yuma, Arizona and El Paso, Texas, areas will have to be pushed back to 2011.

In the meantime, House Democrats are holding behind-the-scenes discussions about creating a special visa for illegal-immigrants, contrary to the wishes of the majority of American people. The Democrats claim that their proposal will be accepted by the Republicans in Congress.

As part of its stated mission to support “comprehensive immigration reform” (which is liberal-speak for granting amnesty to the 12 or more million illegals that are here) the Congressional Hispanic Caucus is demanding what they call “a tough, fair, and workable path to legalization for the undocumented.” And it is rather obvious by now, that our government cares more about the illegals and their wants and wishes, than they do about the America citizens who elected them into office and who pay their salaries.

Ms. Rosemary Jenks, director of government relations for Numbers USA, has learned that members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus are spearheading the effort to approve a plan that would allow any illegal immigrant living in the U.S. to simply prove that they have a job, pay a fine, and pass a background check, to receive the gift of legal status for five years.

The five-year visa plan would be attached to a bill that would increase the number of temporary workers in the hopes of getting Republican support. Ms. Jenks says that this is an attempt to stall the deportation of illegal immigrants until they can get full amnesty.

Rahm Emanuel (Dem. Congressman from Illinois) has stated publicly that he doesn’t believe that they will be able to get full scale amnesty passed until the second term of the next president. Jenks says; “That, of course, puts it right about five years from now. So the hope of the Hispanic Caucus is that they can get this so-called temporary visa – a five year visa for illegal immigrants—passed, and then when they are able to they can get the full-scale amnesty.” You see, who ever is elected, be it McCain, Hillary or Obama, if they instituted full amnesty during their first term, it just might ruin their chances of getting re-elected for a second term.

So there you have it, no border fence and no “virtual fence” and in the meantime we are once again taking it in the butt as our elected officials work toward full amnesty for the illegals and complete the work of setting up the North American Union. And what do WE do? Not a damn thing! No body is willing to rise up, grab a gun and take this country back, or at least go down fighting.
