WEDNESDAY: GOLDEN PIG AWARD - #11

“Just Hitting Another Brick Wall”

Some people just have more balls than brains:

This Week's Golden Pig award once again goes to

Elvira Arellano

You really have to hand it to some people when it comes chutzpah, and Elvira Arellano, the Mexican woman who twice entered the U.S. illegally. A church in Chicago gave her and her son sanctuary for over a year to prevent Immigration officials from deporting her. She was finally deported back to Mexico last month when left the church and traveled to Los Angeles.

Well, as Paul Harvey would say: “Now for the rest of the story”.

The Mexican government, said on Tuesday, that it is engaged in discussions with United States officials about the possibility of having Ms. Arellano return to the U.S.

Are you ready for this? Patricia Espinosa, the Mexican Foreign Secretary, says that she has approached U.S. authorities on behalf of Arellano after Arellano asked Mexican President Felipe Calderon to help her return to the United States legally as a “peace and justice” ambassador.

Espinosa did not say whether Mexico planned on giving Arellano the diplomatic post, but she did say that officials were trying to determine if there was any way she could return to Chicago.

Arellano’s eight year-old son (who was born in the U.S. and is a U.S. citizen according to a false interpretation of the U.S. Constitution’s 13th Amendment) flew to Mexico on Friday to be reunited with his mother, and plans to stay there indefinitely, although he is expected to return briefly to the United States sometime this month to participate in an immigrants-rights march (legal immigrants already have rights, it is illegal immigrants that should not be given rights, since the entered the country illegally).

So far, the U.S. has not responded to the Mexican request.

“The government in the receiving country (the United States in this case) has to authorize diplomatic posts, as they have to grant the visa,” said Espinosa.

Arellano said she would not back down from her request and that she is angry over the fact that Mexico was seeking a U.S. visa, stating that the Mexican government should not have to ask permission to send her north of the border. (And why is that Elvira, do you believe that Mexico owns the world?)

Arellano stated: “I’m not asking for any visa. I want a diplomatic post as ‘Ambassador of Peace and Justice’ and I won’t accept anything less.” I’m sorry you moron, even if you were granted such a post, you would STILL need a visa granted by the U.S.
