To all of you bloggers and bloggettes, this will be my last posting until next Tuesday, as I will be leaving early tomorrow morning with “Munchkin” to head on down to Virginia for my youngest son’s wedding on Saturday, which I was asked to perform. Since I performed the marriage ceremonies for his three older brothers, how could I
possibly say no?

I will be back on Sunday to celebrate the divine liturgy, but right after I will be attending dinner with my 92 year-old mother, then it will be to bed early as I have to be at the hospital on Monday morning for a battery of tests which will include a cardiac stress test and an angiogram.

So since I will be unable to post for a few days, I have decided to post a mixed bag of nuts. I hope you enjoy it.

Richardson Campaign Ends in North Korea

New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson may have just blown his fledgling campaign for the Democratic presidential nomination, shipwrecked on the rocky coast of North Korea.

Although Richardson's trip to North Korea was authorized by the White House, how it played out must have come as a surprise to White House advisors, let alone to Richardson himself.

The former energy secretary and popular New Mexico Democrat had gone to North Korea to claim the remains of six U.S. soldiers killed during the Korean War. He was also expected to deliver a tough message from Washington, that the United States expected North Korea to uphold the 60-day deadline that expires next week for shutting down its nuclear weapons programs.

Instead, Richardson was sandbagged by his North Korean hosts yesterday when he was taken on a guided tour of the USS Pueblo, the "spy ship" attacked and seized by North Korea in international waters on Jan. 23, 1968. One U.S. sailor was killed during the North Korean attack.

The Pueblo's 82-man crew was held hostage by the communist regime for 11 months. North Korea has never paid a price for its act of piracy.

Veterans of the ship have set up a memorial Web site to keep alive the memory of their captivity and to document how they were abandoned by the U.S. Navy during an authorized mission to gather intelligence in international waters off North Korea's coasts.

Today the ship is moored in the Taedong river in the capital, Pyongyang. Schoolchildren are taken on guided tours of the ship to see the face of American "imperialism." While on board the Pueblo, Richardson gamely watched a propaganda film denouncing the United States, and was captured in the act by NBC News reporter Andrea Mitchell.

Footage of Richardson on the Pueblo, standing alongside his smirking North Korea hosts, will haunt him for their rest of his political career. His posture will be compared unfavorably to the 1988 campaign photographs of Michael Dukakis trying to ride a tank. Richardson's outrageous kow-towing to the North Koreans makes Dukakis look like an all-American hero, or a four-star general.

This is what happens when the White House tries to placate the opposition party by sending a leading Democrat on a diplomatic mission that should be reserved for professional diplomats. When Richardson realized he was being taken to the Pueblo, he should have politely refused the North Korean offer. Instead, he chose to play to the cameras.

"You don't have to be a professional diplomat to understand the ‘I spit on your grave' transaction the North Koreans were proposing," says American Enterprise Institute scholar Nicholas Eberstadt. But Richardson is not the first high-ranking U.S. visitor to serve as a "stage-prop" for North Korean propaganda.

In one of her last official visits as secretary of state in December 2000, Madeline Albright visited North Korea and was "dancing in the streets" at a huge propaganda festival arranged in her honor, Eberstadt recalled.

As for the Pueblo, Eberstadt said the North Koreans regularly trot it out when "it's serious shakedown time," then put it back into mothballs.

In October 2002, the North Koreans were actually prepared to return the Pueblo to the State Department, but misread the intentions of a U.S. delegation led by Assistant Secretary of State James Kelly. "They thought Kelly was bearing gifts, not coming to challenge them on their secret uranium enrichment program," Ebertstadt told NewsMax. When they realized his true intention, they put the ship back into mothballs, he added.

We are supposed to have, according to the libs, a separation of Church and State, but apparently, there is no separation of Mosque and state.

The Minneapolis Community State & Technical College is planning on installing several foot washing sinks at the college, to be paid for by the taxpayers. These sinks are for the use of the Muslim students so that they can do their pre-prayer washing of their hands, faces, mouths and feet.

Now get this, last year the college banned a Christmas program from being held on the campus, claiming that it was a violation of the “Separation of Church and State clause of the Constitution” (such a clause does not and never has existed in the Constitution).

So, Christians cannot hold any sort of Christian programs on campus, but Muslims are allowed to have their five times a day prayer sessions on campus, and the taxpayers have to pay to have special foot washing basins installed on campus for them?

The college president claims that this is NOT a religious accommodation but it is a “customer service” and a “public safety” issue because right now, the Muslim students are having to wash their feet in the regular bathroom sinks and that is dangerous and unsanitary.

The Muslims can come to our country, take jobs as taxi drivers at the Minneapolis airport, then turn around and dictate to us who they will and will NOT pick up, and they can take jobs as cashiers in our stores, and then turn around and dictate to US as to what products they will or will not scan. Here in a nation that was founded on Judeo/Christian principles, Christian college students are prohibited from praying or holding Christmas or Christian programs on the very colleges that they are paying good money to attend, but Muslim students not only are permitted to do their five times a day prayers on campus, but now we have to obligated to install their special sinks so that they can wash their “Little Piggys” before they pray.

I don’t know, but it sounds like more Dhimmi bull shit to me.

Norman Thomas, who had been a U.S. Socialist Presidential candidate, had made the following statement: "The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of "liberalism", they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened."

There are those who believe that Communism is behind much if not all of the terrorism and internal strife around the world, including the radical Muslim terrorism. I tend to believe this, as much of what they are doing shows much of the same types of disruptive actions that were used for years by the Marxist insurgents around the world.

E. "Resist any and all attempts to outlaw the Communist Party and do away with all loyalty oaths."

F. "Capture one or both of the political parties of the U.S."

G. "Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current communist propaganda. get control of the teachers associations. And take control of all student newspapers."

H. "Use the technical decisions of the courts to weaken basic American institutions by claiming their activities violate civil rights."

I. "Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing and policy-making positions."

J. "Gain control of key positions in radio, TV and motion pictures."

K. "Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them censorship and a violation of free speech and free press. break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures and on TV."

L. "Through the schools, print media, movies and TV, present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as normal, natural and healthy."

M. "Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with social religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a religious crutch."

N. "Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the ground that it violates the principles of separation of church and state."

O. "Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, and out of step with modern needs."

P. "Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part in the big picture."

Q. "Discredit the family as an institution. Encourage promiscuity and easy divorce. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents."

Now let me leave you with this warning:

The sole goal in global government is to put an end to Nationhood. The United States MUST get out of the United Nations or our sovereign Republic will not survive.
