MUNCHKIN'S SATURDAY CORNER - #62

Here are some of my little nuggets for a happy life:

IF A DOG WERE YOUR TEACHER, YOU WOULD LEARN THINGS LIKE:

A.) When loved ones return home always run to greet them;

B.) Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joy ride;

C.) Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind blowing in your face to be pure ecstasy;

D.) Take naps;

E.) Stretch before rising;

F.) Run, romp, and play every day;

G.) Thrive on attention and allow others to touch you;

H.) Avoid biting when a simple growl will do;

I.) On warm days, stop to lie on your back in the sun;

J.) On hot days, drink lots of water and lay down under a shady tree;

K.) When you are happy, show it by dancing around and wag your entire body;

L.) Delight in the simple joy of a long walk;

M.) Eat with gusto and enthusiasm, but stop when you have had enough;

N.) Be loyal and never pretend to be something you are not;

O.) If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it;

P.) And lastly, when someone is having a bad day-----be silent-----sit close by-----and all will be well.

Now, this warning:

Heart Attacks And Drinking Warm Water

Did you know that the Chinese and the Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water? Perhaps it is time that we adopt their drinking habit.

For those of you who like to drink cold water or other cold beverages, this article is for you.

It’s nice to have a cup or glass of cold water, soda, beer, etc., after a meal. However, cold drinks will solidify the oily stuff you have just eaten. That in turn will slow down digestion. Once this “sludge” reacts with the acid in your stomach, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestines faster than the solid food.

It will line the intestines and very soon it will turn into fats that can lead to cancer and heart attacks. It is best to drink either a hot cup of soup, or a hot cup of tea after a meal.

Common Symptoms Of Heart Attack

You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be pain in the left arm. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line. You may never have the first chest pain during the course of a heart attack.

Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep. Be careful and be aware. The more you know, the better chance you have to survive a heart attack.
