SUNDAYS TWO-CENTS WORTH- #20

The Arrogance of Our Political Leaders Concerning the Issue of Illegal Immigration Shows Their Disrespect for the American People!

Hillary Clinton is just one example of the disrespect and out and out arrogance that the majority of politicians have toward We the People. Mixed in with her many different stands on the issue of immigration are very often statements that reveal far more about her general character than about her many flip-flops and flexible beliefs on many issues. During one of her most recent statements she said that she was surprised at the “vehemence” of real America in its opposition to the horde of illegals invading our nation.

As is her wont, she fudged history when she made the claim that such “fiery” opposition to illegal immigration was “nonexistent” only seven or eight years ago, (which, incidentally, was when her husband Bill was president). So what happened to bring about this change in people’s attitudes? Well, according to the Hildabeast, it was the worsening economy under the Bush administration, which she claims has made Americans looking for jobs, feel the competitive pressure from those who have illegally entered our country. According to what she says, two things are very plainly evident. First, we can see that she has no hesitations when it comes to putting forth a totally false and completely irrelevant analysis of any given situation if she believes that it will garner her some political points. Secondly, she outwardly dismisses, thus rejecting the real reasons put forth by those of us who display our anger and concerns over the issue of illegal immigration.

The majority of Americans become outraged by every incident that smacks of a “banana republic” in the workings of our local, state and federal governments. The vast majority of Americans love this country and have a deep respect for its heritage. They have hopes of passing these blessings of bounty and liberty on to their children and grandchildren. It is about time that Hillary and the rest of the politicians realize that we Americans have no intentions of sitting on our hands while our nation is “Balkanized” and takes on the trappings of a third world country in our every day lives, because of the arrogance and inept policies of you moronic politicians who are more concerned with winning political brownie points then you are with maintaining the security and sovereignty of this country.

Of course, we all know that being whacked with such a dose of reality will never fit in with the standard operating procedures of the Clinton political machine, nor with the practices of any of the other politicos, no matter which party they are from. In the case of Hillary, who may occasionally be on the right side of the illegal immigration issue, her heart certainly is not, nor was it ever on the right side when it comes to taking meaningful actions to stop the flow of the illegals flooding across our borders. If she is elected president, she will take NO actions to stop this invasion. To the contrary, she, along with any of the other Democrat or Republicans, should they win, will grant wholesale amnesty to the illegals and put them on a fast track to citizenship.

Some of the worst displays of arrogant disdain for real America have occurred on the Republican side of the aisle. The most outrageous example came from Senator John McCain of Arizona, during a recent Republican debate. McCain restated the lie that last summer’s amnesty bill, which was known as the “McCain/Kennedy” Bill, did not entail amnesty. So, all of us Americans, who were angry over the prospect of a fast track to citizenship for twenty million illegals, are nothing more than imbecilic morons who don’t have a clue to what is really going on because we refused to buy into their B.S. Nor did we bite at the bait offered by those in congress who supported the “McCain/Kennedy” amnesty bill, which promised a “border fence” as part of the deal, which they had no plans to fund in the first place. Then, just like Hillary, McCain put forth an explanation of why we Americans do not trust our government. His explanation shows far more about his contempt for average Americans then it does about his political exploits. You see, in the world in which McCain and the other politicians live, the American people do not trust the government because of its handling of the Hurricane Katrina situation, corruption in congress, unfettered government spending, etc. But there was something missing from McCain’s list, and that was the government’s complete failure and lack of interest in securing our borders. Can it be that it is beyond McCain’s ability to comprehend that Americans do not trust the government’s empty promises of securing the border because of the government’s complete lack of willingness to secure the border? Perhaps John McCain really feels that Americans are so stupid that they can easily be dazzled by his oratory B.S. so as to be unable to connect the dots.

In a way, McCain did answer this question by responding with such a glaring insult to the intelligence of the American people, by displaying the unrestrained arrogance of the “ruling class” in Washington, D.C., and how it sees the real America.

Sad to say, the rest of the field of front runners of presidential “wannabes” of both political parties, are either now or during most of their political careers, have openly aided and abetted the invasion of illegal immigrants in one way or another. Even though their lame explanations for having done so vary, the result of their actions is the same. Each one of them, to one degree or another has sacrificed the future of America on the altar of political pragmatism and self-service.

It is quite obvious that these people are hell bent on building up a permanent “underclass” of uneducated/undereducated and therefore pliable illegal immigrants. To those in Washington, we who live in the real America, whether we are legal citizens or illegal bond servants, exist solely for the empowerment and pleasure of the so-called enlightened elite back inside Washington, D.C. They could care less what the American people, who elected them, want.

I say that it is about time that we send them a loud and clear message in the next election cycle that we are fed up with their arrogance, disrespect of the voters and their B.S. We must let them know in no uncertain terms that we are NOT going to take it anymore. We elected them to office, then we sure as hell can yank their sorry asses out of Office and we aren’t going to wait until the end of their term to do it!
