I’M SO SAD TODAY:

Oh, do I feel bad. Yesterday I praised John Gibson for his “My Word” on the Fox News Channel, and then what does he do? He turns around and lets me down today. Let me explain;

As you all know by now, the bloodthirsty Liberals being led by, their poster child for chutzpa and hypocrisy, Hillary Clinton are screaming for the resignation of Attorney General Gonzales, because he had the audacity to fire eight subordinates, without first consulting Congress and explaining his reasons for doing so.

The Democrats are claiming that the firings were an unprecedented act and that they were done for political reasons. Is that so? Those idiots seem to have forgotten that Hillary’s dip of a husband fired ninety-three U.S. Attorneys, especially the ones that were involved in investigations of the swindles, scams and other scandals that he, Hillary and some of his friends were involved in and replaced them with people who were on his side. That is why nothing ever came of the investigations. It was always the same answer; “We can find no evidence of any wrong doing”. Hillary, can you say: “IT SMELLS OF CORRUPTION AND COVER UP”? After the firings, Clinton said he didn’t do any thing wrong. In one respect he was right, it is the right of a President to fire the Attorneys, but was it moral to fire those who were investigating him and Hillary? I say it was not. Now, since it is within the power of the President to fire and appoint U.S. Attorneys, then why is it wrong for Bush to do it?

Let’s get back to John Gibson. On his show today, he made the statement Gonzales should either step down or Bush should fire him for the sake of peace and quiet in his administration. WRONG! The Dems went after Bush and kept up their attacks to get rid of Rumsfeld, the Secretary of Defense. Bush caved and had Rummy submit his resignation. I thought at the time and I still do that that was wrong. Bush also fired a couple of other people who served in his administration due to pressure by the Democrats. If Gonzales gives in and resigns, or if Bush caves again and fires Gonzales, then who is going to be the next “victim” that the Dems will go after?

And, if Bush bowed to their demands, you can rest assured that they would never confirm any one he nominates to replace Gonzales, unless they were someone the Dems can control.

What say you?
