Clergy to be used to quell dissent:
The Government has a plan in the works to use the clergy to quell dissent and objections to government orders during a time of national emergency (Is this not a violation of the First Amendment to the Constitution?). The clergy would be used to help the government with their biggest potential problem:
There is no way that I will ever urge American citizens to comply with orders that would require them to turn in their guns or to obey any other orders that would violate any of their Constitutional Rights. National emergencies are the time that citizens need to protect themselves the most, both from looters and overzealous military personnel.
Besides, isn’t it rather hypocritical of our government that forbids school prayer, forbids the display of Christian symbols in public that then wants Christian clergy to use Bible texts to force their congregations to submit peaceably like sheep to the slaughter?
