Today’s Post is a bit lengthy, so please bear with me.

Today’s GOLDEN PIG AWARD posting is going to be a little different; I am going to award it to the American people. To do so, I want to write a response to a posting by Roxie of "Shades of Red, White and Blue", which was posted on Gayle’s “Dragon Lady’s Den”.

The “GRAND MOOSELIM OSAMA AWARD” is going to all of the “moderate” Muslims who, for one reason or another have NOT spoken out against the terrorists.

I found very little to disagree with in the article “To the Citizens of the United States”, but there were a couple of areas that I wish to clarify. Yes, there are far too many leaders in America, as well as in many other democratic countries around the world, that want to bury their heads in the sand and deny the real facts concerning the evils and dangers posed by the Islamists to the entire world. Many of these spineless leaders are from the various Christian churches, and most are political leaders who call themselves Christians. But, please let us remember that standing in a garage, no more makes one a car then merely attending a church makes one a Christian.

I have seen so many so-called Christian ministers, pastors, and Catholic priests, who have been so warped by political correctness that, in all honesty, they cannot truly be called Christian. The same goes for the every day average laymen/women who blindly go along with the acceptance of sin and evil, even welcoming it into their churches. I can also use the same analogy for those who claim to be patriotic American citizens (ordinary men and women as well as those who hold political office).

When it comes to those in Office, all the way up from dog catcher on up to the president, who would put personal prestige or monetary gain ahead of what is in the best interest of the country, who would sell out our nations freedoms and safety for the sake of political contributions from special interest groups or for the false idealism of a One World Government, are no more patriotic and lovers of America then are the Islamist terrorists who wish to destroy us. The same holds true for the ordinary citizens who close their eyes to the corruptions and deceits that are going on all around them.

If one cares to know the truth, God is allowing the terrorists to gain the upper hand as a warning to the Christian nations to turn back to His laws. It is God’s way of warning us to turn from the evils that have taken over our society today. I know that there are many who will not believe that God would allow our destruction, but if that is their thinking then they certainly do not know their Bible, as there are plenty of instances in Holy Scripture where God allowed the destruction of whole cities and societies because of their sins. Those who tacitly supported the sinful acts being committed by their leaders and/or large numbers of the population, through their silence, were just as guilty as those who actually committed the acts.

In the article by Roxie, it was stated:

“Blinded by homosexuality some religious leaders blamed America’s humanitarian treatment of homosexual people for 9/11 instead of laying the blame for the attacks at the feet of the Islamic revolutionary terrorists. It was immoral of American political and religious leaders to turn a blind-eye to the barbarian ideology that was ravaging cities in nations around the globe. The nonsense of pursuing a tiny immorality while permitting an antichrist abomination to grow so large and so strong as to endanger all of humankind betrayed not only Americans but billions of people around the world.”

It was not America’s “humanitarian treatment of homosexual people”, that caused God to allow the attacks of 9/11, or for that matter, the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina or any of the other disasters, natural or man made, that have been plaguing us with greater frequency and ferocity the past few years, but rather it is America’s acceptance of homosexuality. This acceptance has gone so far as to cause many Christian churches to perform same-sex marriages or blessing of same-sex couples. Remember, Jesus taught that we are to love the sinner but hate the sin. But what have we done? Because of political correctness and pressures put on our society by special interest groups (many working through the United Nations) we, along with many of the “Christian” European nations, have not only embraced the homosexuals, but have also embraced the homosexual life-style as well, by allowing our children to be taught in our public schools that homosexuality is something to be respected and embraced. We now tolerate “gay pride” day celebrations in public where some of the vilest antics go on. We tolerate gay themed TV shows and movies. We even tolerate it when some of our schools celebrate gay pride days by making our children come to school dressed as the opposite sex.

For those who call themselves Christian, what is so difficult to understand when God says: “If a man lies with a man as with a woman, it is an abomination in the eyes of the Lord”, or when St. Paul states: “Neither liars, thieves, catamites, sodomites or homosexuals shall enter the Kingdom of heaven.” Even if one is not a Christian or if one is a complete atheist, one still knows, deep down inside through natural law, that homosexuality goes against nature, and yet we are told that we must accept and embrace it.

When we as individuals, commit any immoral act; that is our personal sin. When we as individuals fail to speak out against immorality, when we quietly condone and embrace such acts, that also becomes our personal sin. When a government enacts laws to protect and legalize immorality and we the people refuse to stand up and demand that such laws be repealed, then that is a national sin. Like it or not, God does punish unrepentant individuals for their personal sins and he most certainly does punish entire nations for the sins of those nations.

True, it was the brutal, blood thirsty antichrist Islamists who attacked the World Trade Center in 1993, it was they who attacked two of our embassies in Africa, it was these same Islamists who attacked the U.S.S. Cole. True, it was the crazed Islamists who attacked and destroyed the Twin Towers, killing thousands, on 9/11. It is these same barbaric madmen who have attacked innocents in Spain, England, France, Israel, Darfur, Lebanon and many other countries, but it is God allowing it to happen because we have turned our collective backs on Him. We have kicked Him out of our schools, out of our public lives, out of our homes and even out of our personal lives. The more we turn from God, the more of His blessings and protections he withholds from us and our country.

The more we refuse to follow God’s Laws, and the more our government bends over backward to appease not only the Islamists but also the immoral and godless special interest groups, and the longer we remain silent and accepting, the worse and more frequent the attacks and natural disasters will become. And if America does not wake up soon and turn back to God, God will allow this nation to be totally destroyed.

There are those who will tell us that God loves us so much that He would not allow our destruction or for us to be punished. I have even had people tell me that if God allowed our destruction, He would be contradicting His own commandment of “Thou shalt not kill”. Well, once again I have to say that you do not know the Bible. Many will even use this sixth commandment to speak out against war. Let’s take at closer look at this commandment and see what it really says.

The King James Version was translated in the early part of the 17^th century using an archaic form of English, which is very different from our modern form. In the ensuing 400 + years English has undergone drastic changes. Like the original Hebrew (which was the language that most of the Old Testament was written in), English uses different words for intentional and unintentional killing. Therefore, the verse translated “Thou shalt not kill” should more accurately be translated
“Thou shalt not murder”, which is the accurate Hebrew translation. The Hebrew word used here was ratsach which refers to intentional killing without cause.

So, to answer the question: “Does God break His own commandment?” one would first have to determine if God committed “MURDER” (killed people without cause) when he destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, or when He destroyed the world through the flood, or when he ordered Joshua and his people to kill every man, woman and child in Canaan. The Bible is very explicit that God has killed people directly (one example being the flood) and indirectly (when He ordered peoples to be killed). If God either directly killed or ordered the killing of innocent people, then He would be guilty of murder, but we know that God is incapable of sin.

When he destroyed the world by the flood, with the exception of Noah and his family, the Bible tells us that all people (except Noah and his family) had become corrupt. Not only had they become corrupt, but they continually plotted evil. Is it possible for an entire society to become corrupt? You bet your booty! A prime example can be found in recent history, when the Nazis took over Germany before WWII, opposition was crushed and when the Nazis began to purge the “undesirables” (Jews, Gypsies, etc.) virtually the entire German society went along with the plan. Therefore, the Bible tells us that no innocent people were killed.

Even with the in habitants of Canaan, the people were so wicked and evil that they were sacrificing their own sons and daughters to their gods. You say that surely God could have spared the children! Too often people tend to view children as innocent, even if their parents are doing evil deeds. Such a view is totally unfounded. A good example is the Muslim children who are officially taught and brainwashed starting in grammar school to hate their Jewish neighbors and all non-Muslims. This indoctrination is so deep and ingrained that many of them willingly give up their lives in suicide bombings. Corruption breeds corruption, and it was for this reason why God did not want the Hebrews tainted by the other corrupt cultures.

So as you can see, God does and will destroy whole cities and countries for their national sins and corruption and if we remain silent and turn a blind eye to the sin and corruption going on around us, if we accept the sin and corruption and even allow it into our churches and every aspect of our society, then God considers us to be just as guilty and corrupt as those who actually commit or practice the sin.

If we truly want to save our nation, our lives, our eternal souls, then yes, we have to fight the godless and vile Islamists, but at the same time, we must fight to change our own society, our own lives and return to obeying God’s Laws.

LESSONS IN CIVICS & THE CONSTITUTION – H

Judiciary Act – (1789)

Congress passed the Judiciary Act on September 24, 1789. Section 9 of the Act dealt with equity, admiralty and maritime jurisdictions of our courts. Congress stated: “the forms and modes of proceeding in causes of equity and of admiralty and maritime jurisdiction shall be according to the course of Civil Law.”

Section 34 exclusively dealt with the Common Law jurisdiction of the Federal courts wherein Congress stated: “That the laws of the several States, except where the Constitution, treaties or statutes of the United States shall otherwise require or provide, shall be regarded as rules of decision in trials at Common Law in the Courts of the United States in cases where they apply.”

In 1792, by congressional action, the form and modes of proceeding in such cases ere directed to be “according to the principles, rules and usage, which belong to courts of equity and to courts of Admiralty respectively, as contradistinguished from courts of Common Law.”

Here you can see that in 1792, Congress recognized three separate and distinct jurisdictions of the federal courts; Equity, Admiralty and Common Law. By “jurisdiction” we mean lawful authority to act on the subject matter involved in a controversy, a particular thing within that subject matter, and authority to act against a particular person associated with the subject matter.

If an action at Common Law is properly brought into a Common Law court, the court is bound by the principles, rules and procedures of Common Law. If the action is brought properly before an Equity or Admiralty court, the court is bound by the principles, rules and procedures of the Civil Law dealing with the subject matter.

Equity has no cognizance over criminal matters and, therefore, in criminal cases there are only two jurisdictions - - every criminal case must be prosecuted either in the jurisdiction of Common Law, or that of the Law of Admiralty. In criminal cases, Common Law courts are bound by the principles, rules and procedures of the Common Law. In Admiralty cases, the court is bound by the principles, rules and procedures of Admiralty and Maritime Law.

Subsequently, State courts have concurrent jurisdiction in both Common Law and Maritime Law concerning certain types of cases and subject matter. If the subject matter or nature of the cause is Maritime, then, even though it is heard in a Common Law court, that court is bound to apply Maritime Law to the case. Also, no Admiralty court in the land has any jurisdiction to hear Common Law issues.

The following are some of the differences between the principles, rules and procedures of Common Law and Civil Law:

Common Law

* Right to Trial by Jury

* 12 Judges – the jury

Control the trial

Judge Justice of Law

Determine admissibility of evidence

Applies law to facts

Renders verdict according to conscience, with reference to the negative Golden Rule

Civil Law

* No right to trial by jury

* One Judge (Chancellor)

* One Chancellor controls the trial:

Jury is advisor to the Chancellor

Chancellor determines admissibility of evidence

Jury must accept the law as given by the Chancellor

Jury renders verdict according to law dictated and evidence presented

Now this sounds like a great idea!

ROBO-Toilets proposed as a means to stop ‘Gay Cruising”:

The mayor of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Jim Naugle, states that his city has a problem with “homosexual activity” taking place in public restrooms and he believes that he has a plan that will put a stop to it – robotic toilets that allow occupants to remain inside for a short time before the door automatically opens.

The mayor said: “We are trying to provide a family environment where people can take their children who need to use the bathroom without having to worry about a couple of men in there engaged in a sex act.”

The $250,000 self-cleaning robo-johns have been installed in San Francisco, Seattle, Atlanta and New York. They are modular units which play music and can be accessed for a fee or free, depending on each cities policies.

According to the mayor, Public restrooms are pickup places for “homosexuals. . . . They’re engaging in sex, anonymous sex, and illegal sex.”

If approved by the City Commission, the timed toilets will be paid for with property-tax funds.

Hey folks, here is some good news:

Thank God, a Step in the Right Direction:

Rev. Ann Holmes Redding, so-called priest of the Episcopal Church, who claims that she is both a Christian and Muslim, will not be able to serve as a priest for a year, according to her bishop.

During that year, Redding is expected to “reflect on the doctrines of the Christian faith. . .” said the Rt. Rev. Geralyn Wolf, bishop of the Dioceses of Rhode Island.

During the next year Redding “is not to exercise any of the responsibilities and privileges of an Episcopal priest or deacon,” wrote Wolf in an e-mail.

In June, Redding announced publicly that she had been drawn to the Muslim faith after being profoundly moved after an introduction to Muslim prayers.

Though some people supported her, many were critical of her, saying it was not possible to be both a Christian and Muslim at the same time. They also took issue with her being a leader within the Episcopal Church while at the same time professing another faith.

Redding claims she has not violated any of her baptismal or ordination vows. Oh, do tell!

As I sit here pondering the stupidity of the Liberals, I cannot help but be amazed at how Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer and other leftist moombats are so bent out of shape over G.W. giving "Scooter" a commutated sentence, and oh how wrong it is, but where was their outrage over Bill Clinton pardoning those Puerto Rican terrorists? Hmmmm





It was just like they became furklempt when Attorney General Gonzales fired 8 Assistant U.S. District Attorneys. The Liberals screamed bloody murder about how it was all political. Well what was it when Bill Clinton fired all 96 U.S. District Attorneys? Oh Boo figgen Hoo you poor Libs.
