A SPECIAL LESSON IN CIVICS MESSAGE

The Following is an Important Message from NumbersUSA. My words will follow.

Senators who support “Open Borders” have sunk to a new low in advocating amnesty by aiding, abetting and harboring a group of illegal immigrants in the very Capitol of the United States today!

Sen. Dick Durbin (D. IL), Sen. Lugar (R. Ind), and Sen. Hagel (R. Neb) have invited Senators and their staffers to a meeting at 3:00 p.m. today to “learn” why they need to pass the DREAM ACT amnesty Bill on Wednesday.

Briefing the Senators in the Capitol will be:

Several Students Who Would Benefit From the Passage of the “Dream Act”. They are:

Angela Kelley, Director of the Immigration Policy Center;

Melissa Lazarin, Director of Education Policy, First Focus;

Alfred Campos, Federal Lobbyist, National Education Association;

Stephanie Grosser, Outreach and Program Coordinator, Hebrew Immigrant AID Society;

Kevin Appleby, U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops.

And just incase you don’t get it, ANYBODY WHO “WILL BENEFIT FROM THE PASSAGE OF THE DREAM ACT” is an illegal immigrant. Each of the above named is an illegal immigrant!

Is it any wonder that anyone wouldn’t hold back from trying to enter the U.S. illegally now that they can see that illegals can hang around the Capitol of the United States with no fear of arrest – and be embraced by our elected officials?

Last week, the Senate voted to Protect Sanctuary Cities and their policies of shielding illegal immigrants. Today, some Senators apparently are declaring our nation’s Capitol an illegal-immigrant sanctuary!

We have now reached the point where the immigration lawlessness that has characterized the border for over 20 years, that has suffocated our Southwestern States, south Florida and hundreds of neighborhoods across the country has now moved to into the Capitol of the United States itself – INVITED THERE BY OUR ELECTED U.S. SENATORS.

If you feel, as I do, that the Senators whom we elect to represent us, have become champions of anarchy and have gone too far, then please pick up your phone and call your two U.S. Senators and DEMAND that they commit to a NO VOTE on cloture tomorrow on Senate Bill S. 2205.

Keep calling until the Senate switchboard is forced to shut down. Let your Senators know in no uncertain terms that they were elected to represent the CITIZENS of the United States, NOT illegal immigrants, and if they cannot understand that then you will vote them OUT of Office.

PLEASE PHONE THE SENATE SWITCHBOARD AT:

1-202-224-3121

You can get all of the direct phone numbers (in D.C. and in your state) for your own two Senators by going to:

www.NumbersUSA.com/myMembers

Please note, that the DREAM ACT AMNESTY BILL potentially rewards millions of current illegal immigrants, as well as enticing millions more to come.

Instead of passing legislation to improve the lack of enforcement in this country that allowed from 12 to 30 million illegals to enter and settle in the U.S., our Senators are trying to just continue the 21-year pattern of giving rewards to the illegals.

PLEASE MAKE THAT PHONE CALL RIGHT NOW, TOMORROW MAY BE TOO LATE!

Thank you,

Roy Beck

My Words:

Folks, this is a very serious and urgent problem, and those, whom we have elected, both to the House and to the Senate, continue to ignore the will of the people who have elected them. I cannot help but think that these Representatives and Senators feel that they are in office to protect the rights of illegals rather than the rights of those who elect them.

I could be wrong, but I am beginning to believe that the whole intent of Washington is to allow this country to become over run with illegals to the point that we, the citizens will just cave in and allow the North American Union to take place, meekly without raising an out-cry because we will feel “what the heck, there are so many illegals here now that there is nothing we can do so why not just accept the North American Union”.

People, this is our country and if you believe that it is worth fighting for, I urge you to please make those calls NOW.
